Purifying Lemongrass – Good Even For Skin

Lemongrass Essential Oil

Lemongrass essential oil has a delicious citrus-herb scent. It can be diffused to purify the air from bad odors and also applied topically for skin-cleansing benefits. You can also use lemongrass essential oil to flavor food; especially Thai-recipes use lots of lemongrass. Adding it to drink recipes gives a nice, citrusy flavor.

How To Use Lemongrass Essential Oil

  • Diffuse Lemongrass to achieve feelings of clarity and relaxation.
  • Use this oil in cleaning the house for Christmas; diffuse for a fresh aroma, or add a few drops into a cleaning solution.
  • Add 4 drops to laundry or dish washing water.
  • Make up a spritzer with water and 5 drops of lemongrass to freshen the carpet.
  • Add a couple of drops on a cotton ball and put into the linen cupboard.
  • Same applies to get rid of the car smell; make your own re-freshener by hanging a piece of cardboard with clued on piece of felt inside your car. You can add drops of lemongrass onto the felt when needed!
  • Even the fridge can be rid of odors; add 8 drops into a jar of baking soda and put inside the fridge without a lid.
  • Add to coconut oil and massage aching muscles
