Thieves essential oil blend is a powerful, natural alternative that kills bacteria even in the air! This blend is a special mix of antiseptic or antibacterial essential oils, such as clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus and rosemary. It is a perfect mix in the fight against germs.
Tips How To Use Thieves Essential Oil Against Germs
- Diffuse Thieves blend for 10-20 minutes three times a day. Diffusing this oil kills airborne bacteria up to 99.3%. This is a clever way to deter attacking bacteria, and spread wellness in the home. The rooms will be filled with spicy aroma of cinnamon and lemon.
- Apply a couple of drops on the bottom of the feet. Check for skin sensitivity first on a small area, and blend with vegetable oil if needed. 1 to 4 drops of dilution is recommended. This is a great way to stimulate the immune system. Use every day when meeting many people and especially in winter!
- Make a cleaning spray with water and Thieves. Mix 20 drops of Thieves with water in a 500 ml spray bottle and use for cleaning kitchen surfaces, dusting, bathroom and even windows or walls.
- Add a few drops in the dishwasher to clean dishes and eliminate odors.
- Adding a couple of drops in water makes an effective mouthwash to gargle with.

Why The Name – Thieves?
The name of this oil is curious. It comes from a legend about a group of 15th century spice merchants that were stranded in the shores of France when the plague was spreading in Europe. The group used their protective herbs and spices and went on a robbing spree visiting the homes of the sick and dying. These thieves were unaffected by the bacteria, and this legend is the inspiration for the Thieves essential oil blend.
